Abbreviated Candidate Answers

I have heard approximately 20,000 felony cases and close to 25,000 civil cases.  I have not had any criminal cases remanded back to my court to redo. I have had 7 civil cases come back to redo.  I have had no hung juries, no disciplinary complaints nor have I ever had to defend myself in any lawsuits.

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

For the past 19 years I have been a judge. Prior to that being a single mother of four gives me a broader perspective and compassion for individuals who appear in my court.
