Question 1

List your judicial experience (courts and years)

I have served as a Hamilton County Probate Court magistrate for 5 years (2016-2020, 2022) and have presided over thousands of Family Law cases. I also preside over our Mental Health Court where we secure psychiatric treatment for the most severely mentally ill residents of Hamilton County. I know how to manage a courtroom and a large caseload.

Question 2

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

I have worked in the courtroom for 24 years as a social worker, prosecutor, defense attorney, and magistrate. I have represented children and parents during some of the hardest times of their lives. I have litigated thousands of trials as a prosecutor and defense attorney.

Question 3

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

We need strong families in Hamilton County. I have the experience and passion to help parents and children through some of the most difficult situations they will ever face. Deciding cases in Domestic Relations Court requires a firm understanding of the law and a focus on what is best for families, especially what is in the best interest of children.
