Question 1

List your judicial experience (courts and years)

I am running as a Judicial Candidate & have not served as a Judge.

Question 2

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

I am a solo Practitioner in the Federal District, State Appellate, County Common Pleas, Municipal & Mayors' Courts throughout Ohio in the Criminal, Civil, Probate, Juvenile & Domestic Divisions. I tried more than forty-five Jury & Bench Trials and I successfully resolved countless cases through negotiated plea resolutions, diversion, dismissal or alternative dispute resolution. I worked my way through law school in the night division as a full-time Franklin Co. Common Pleas Probation Officer. I studied every Judge & examined the traits that distinguished the best. I incorporated those traits and I intend to employ them in service to our community. I am U.S. Army Aviator, Combat Veteran and I Retired as a Major with thirty years of military service. I served throughout the Continental United States, Central America (CA), Balkans, Southwest & Southeast Asia, to include numerous hostile environments and combat missions: CA, Southern Republic of Korea, Operation Iraqi Freedom & Operation Enduring Freedom- Afghanistan.

Question 3

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

Good Jurists are in high demand. I was selected, nominated and endorsed. I became a Court Officer in 1994, in serving and practicing before the Courts I developed and adopted the traits preferred in the best Judges. As I Veteran, if elected, I would be the only Veteran serving on the Franklin Co. Municipal Court and thus the best qualified Judge for our Veteran's Court.
