List your judicial experience (courts and years)

I was the judge of the Vinton County Court from 2003 until 2020, making me the longest-serving judge in that role in the history of Vinton County.  I have served as judge of the Vinton County Court of Common Pleas, General/Domestic Relations Division since 2020.

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

I was engaged in the private practice of law from 1995 until 2020.  I have been a judge for over twenty years, and I consider all cases brought before me in a fair and impartial manner.

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

I was appointed to this particular court seat in April of 2020.  I was elected to fill an unexpired term in November of 2020.  I now am running for a full term in this position because I find my occupation to be uniquely rewarding, and I possess the requisite skills to do the job.
