What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

I have been in a courtroom for my entire legal career. My vast trial experience and my ability to ensure that parties and advocates are treated with respect, lend themselves to a good judicial temperament.

My courtroom experience extends to Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Domestic Relations, and Juvenile Courts.

In addition, I have experience with major trials.

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

Portage County has a felony drug court, HOPE Court. The drug court has had success and reduced recidivism. Those persons who are eligible for the drug court should have the opportunity to access it.

By becoming your next Portage County Common Pleas Court Judge, I will have the opportunity to serve my fellow residents by providing prompt and fair administration of justice.

Portage County Courts should be open, respectful, and serve the community. Portage County deserves a judge who will consistently and faithfully follow the law.
