Cleveland Municipal Court 1995-2010 Mental Health Court Judge for majority of my time there.

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?
As a Public Defender I represented persons charged with felonies in the Juvenile, Felony Divisions, and as a law clerk I worked in the juvenile and appellate divisions. This was invaluable experience in preparation for a career as a Judge. Actual court and trial practice, and understanding the challenges of the people we serve as judges cannot be understated as a preparation for judicial service.

Why are you running for this particular court seat?
This will be my third term on the Court of Appeals. I believe that my work has had a positive impact on the community that I serve and I am committed to delivering my very best effort for the public in this next term.
