Question 1

List your judicial experience (courts and years)

-

Question 2

What non-judicial legal experience qualifies you to be a judge?

Throughout my career I have worked to make the criminal justice system more effective. As an Assistant Lucas County Prosecutor, I worked on cases that put some of the worst offenders behind bars.  As the Elected Toledo Municipal Clerk of Court, I have negotiated union contracts for the nearly 80 office employees, and served as their hearing officer. I have led the Clerk’s office into a new era of transparency and respectability throughout the community.

Question 3

Why are you running for this particular court seat?

I was born and raised in Toledo and I have worked hard to make my hometown a safe and productive place where I have chosen to raise a family and continue to mentor youth and young professionals in hopes of keeping their talents and gifts in this community.  I came from a background similar to many of the children served by the juvenile court.  I am someone who can use my background and experiences as an example of how our youth can overcome adversities and achieve success; giving them hope for a brighter future.
